I loved taking photos in India.  The people, the colors, the history were just amazing.  I would have been nice to have more time to shoot.  The photo of this lady was taken outside in a mountain village just outside of Pune.

This photo was taken at a small mountain side village outside of Pune.  This lady was watching me take photos of other individuals and was so happy when I turned and asked if I could take her photo.  She was a waitress at a small outside restaurant.

The two ladies ran a small “coffee” shop on a mountain side in India. We had stopped there to purchase some refreshments. The whole time we sat and enjoyed our drinks they looked at us. At one point I picked up my camera, turned around and snapped the picture you see here.

I like this photo because of the story it tells and the emotion that it conveys.
